– Edison Prep Est. 2010 –

    Brian and Silvia found Edison Prep, providing 1-1 tutoring for students at home or in their local Dunkin' Donuts

  • Feb 2011

    Silvia and Brian write, edit, and publish Version 1 of the SAT & ACT Bulbs.

  • April 2011

    Edison Prep adds the AP US History Bootcamp to its yearly rotation, now run every spring.

  • May 2011

    Edison Prep gains its first office location at the Mt. Bethel Church in Marietta, GA.

  • Jan 2012

    Edison Prep moves into its longterm office location in Sandy Springs.

  • April 2012

    AP World History Bootcamps begin, now run every spring.

  • May 2013

    Edison Prep doubles its office space to accommodate its growing repertoire of students and class offerings.

  • Feb 2015

    Our first on-site bootcamp is held!

  • June 2016

    Edison Prep celebrates its 10,000th student!

  • 2017

    We debut our Calculator Video Channel, to be updated every year.

  • 2018

    We double our office space (again!).

    In May, Silvia beats Brian on the SAT despite being 8 months pregnant with twins(1570 to his 1560).

  • 2019

    Edison Prep leads a dozen on-site bootcamps

  • 2020

    In January, Edison Prep presents at the Tests and the Rest Winter Conference on Building Brand Authenticity.

    The National Test Prep Association elects Brian as a Board member during the summer, and in July, we began expanding by adding experienced tutors.

  • July 2022

    Edison Prep debuts our Auto-Grader quiz tool, allowing students to access detailed score reports.

    We add three more private tutoring spaces in the office.

  • Oct 2022

    We add subject tutoring to our list of 1-on-1 offerings.

  • Nov 2022

    We debut the Teachable Calculator Video Course, available to all current students.

  • Early 2024

    Edison Prep will celebrate its 23,000th student!
