Edison Prep supports K-12 and college students by providing smart, compassionate, individualized and group tutoring and test preparation to students. We’re passionate about education, and we’re committed to providing exceptional service. In addition to improving their test scores and GPA, our students also build skills, gain knowledge, and boost confidence that helps them to succeed in the classroom and beyond. Edison Prep is a locally-owned firm founded in Sandy Springs in 2010. While we helped students in 33 states and 6 countries last year, 80% of our students are still from the Atlanta metro area. Academic Tutors

Are you an experienced educator who loves helping students achieve their goals? If so, we want to meet you! Edison Prep is a locally-owned tutoring firm seeking smart, enthusiastic tutors to join our team and help our students succeed.

We are currently hiring test prep tutors with experience teaching the SAT, ACT, and/or SSAT; academic tutors with expertise in Physics, Biology, and/or Chemistry (preferably at the AP level); and Math tutors skilled in Algebra 1, Geometry, Algebra 2, Pre-Calculus, Calculus, Trigonometry, Probability, and Statistics.

Edison Prep tutors are adaptable, bright, thoughtful, patient, kind, creative, and funny people who are committed to providing exceptional tutoring, test preparation, and coaching. We meet with students online or in person at our office in Sandy Springs, GA. Edison Prep offers tutoring 7 days a week. Our tutors work flexible hours and receive the support and oversight that allows them to be the dedicated, thoughtful teachers that each student deserves.

Expectations

  • Ability to teach a comprehensive & individualized tutoring program for each incoming student
  • Exceptional communication skills that support strong relationships with students and their families
  • Mastery of verbal and quantitative test prep content and techniques and an ability to teach all sections of each test
  • Familiarity with United States college application and testing process
  • Experience and skill with online instruction and interactive whiteboard applications
  • All candidates must have a bachelor’s degree and teaching or tutoring experience
